Abstract

In this article, the typological features of Uzbek and English kinship nouns were studied. The comparison of each semantic group in them was analyzed. English relative nouns "Mother - Ona" were analyzed. A typological analysis was carried out with detailed information about the origin and history of the kinship noun "Mother - Ona" in both languages.
