Abstract

Introduction and research problem:

Over the past years, the sports field has witnessed the development of management concepts and systems due to the changes that continue to occur in society, as contemporary institutions have realized the importance and inevitability of continuous development as their way to survive in the face of the world of contemporary technologies and the possibilities and challenges it provides, as it includes all areas of activity, which has led to To shift from traditional methods of doing business to digital methods.

Search goal:

This research aims to identify the role of digital transformation technology in developing the administrative performance of the Iraqi athletics sub-federations in the southern governorates (Basra - Thi Qar - Maysan - Al-Muthanna - Diwaniyah).

Conclusions:

• There are mechanisms to attract specialized competencies for the digital transformation process.
• The Board of Directors works to collect information confidentially for the purpose of verifying administrative deviations.

Recommendations:

• Spreading awareness of the importance of digital transformation through conferences, workshops, and ongoing training programs to keep pace with global technological development.
• Develop future plans and programs to develop the electronic infrastructure in the branches of the Iraqi Athletics Federation for the southern region to facilitate the management of work via the Internet and communication with the target audience.
