Relevance of Religious Vocabulary in the Uzbek Language
Abstract
Religious vocabulary plays a crucial role in the Uzbek language, reflecting the deep-rooted influence of Islam and other religious traditions on the nation’s linguistic and cultural identity. This article examines the relevance of religious vocabulary in contemporary Uzbek society, exploring its historical origins, cultural significance, and current usage. It also addresses the challenges posed by modernization and globalization, which are influencing how these terms are understood and used by different generations. The study highlights the importance of preserving this vocabulary to maintain a connection to Uzbekistan’s rich religious and cultural heritage.
