Abstract

This article analyzes the diplomatic relations between the Ashtarkhanid dynasty and the
Ottoman Empire, which ruled the Bukhara Khanate, through sources and scientific literature. The
Ashtarkhanids, who ruled the Bukhara Khanate, which played an important role in the history of
Uzbek statehood, developed friendly relations with the Ottoman state and relied on their military
support. In foreign policy, the Ashtarkhanis had political relations with Iran, India, China, Kashgar,
Russia and a number of other countries.
