Abstract
Register and tone are crucial in translation as integral aspects of style. They help immensely to make the message of a text more explicit and easier to understand. They draw attention to the level of language and to the feeling, and attitude of the author. They are socially defined and culturally determined. This discourse explores these integral elements of style and discusses their merits with regards to understanding messages and feedbacks. Our objective is simply to highlight the problems and challenges of translating registers and tones in order to furnish translators with possible and efficient solutions to make their work of informing, educating, instructing and teaching their audience easy.
