This article shows that congenital intestinal obstruction is more common in children due to malformations of the gastrointestinal system. In fact, the gastrointestinal system should be formed in 4-12 weeks of the fetus. But during this period, due to the impact of various (external and internal) factors on the fetus, defects in the gastrointestinal tract may appear.
