This article discusses creativity, the prerequisites for its emergence and development, as well as factors that help and hinder the development of human creative abilities. Intelligence, brain, age, imagination, creativity, and divergent thinking are shown as factors that develop creative thinking, while cognitive barriers, emotional barriers, cultural barriers, acquired barriers, imposed learning barriers, ego barriers, routine behavioral or work barriers, barriers of fear, educational barriers, strategic barriers. Obstacles, value barriers, barriers of thinking are shown. Recommendations are also given to overcome these obstacles.
