Abstract

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most frequent cause of death in chronic kidney disease (CKD), and the latter is an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease and death. Coronary heart disease (CHD) is one of the most common diseases of the cardiovascular system and is a major contributor to the mortality rate of the population [1, 2].
