Motive Matching of the Hero in the Epic “Er Ziuar”

Abstract

The article deals with the motif of the “marriage of the hero”, valuable for its significance in heroic epics in addition to the biography of the hero, revealing the genetic origins of plots and motives that reveal complex deep relationships between epic creativity and phenomena of reality. On this basis, the structure of the plots about the matchmaking of the hero of the Karakalpak folk epic “Er Ziyar” is deeply examined, the typology and semantics of motives are analyzed within the framework of plot structuring.
