Abstract

Concrete is the most widely used material in construction. It is an artificial stone formed from a mixture of binder, filler and water. The strength of concrete mainly depends on the water-cement ratio. Concrete is a material that is very good in compression but 10-15 times worse in elongation. Therefore, we should pay special attention to the tensile strength of concrete.
