Abstract

The contemporary judicial and legal reform of the Republic of Uzbekistan is aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of justice and accessibility of qualified legal assistance. The legal profession, which performs the functions of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations, is of particular importance in this process. One of the most complex institutions of civil procedural law is the review of judicial acts based on newly discovered circumstances. This mechanism is exceptional in nature and requires high qualification from lawyers. This article is devoted to analyzing the role of lawyers in civil proceedings, their procedural status, peculiarities of their activities at the stage of case review based on newly discovered circumstances, as well as problems of legal regulation and ways to eliminate them.
