Abstract

Hoof diseases in horses when their storage, feeding, and operation are improper; the presence of infectious diseases and diseases caused by metabolic disorders are very common. In addition, unsatisfactory organization of the training process, competitions and national equestrian games can lead to many traumatic injuries, because even a well-trained horse can make mistakes that can lead to injury when tired. This time our article covers laminitis, a common disease in sport horses. Laminitis is very common in horses, and if the hooves are deformed and not treated in time, they can be replaced by purulent podadermatitis of the hooves as a secondary disease, in which the horse loses its ability to work and can be paralyzed for life.
