Abstract

Structurally, the Angren deposit represents a gently sloping syncline sinking towards the southwest. The marginal parts of the syncline are complicated by additional folding. The Apartak area is located on the northwest wing of the syncline within the band complicated by additional brachyfolds. Survey and exploration work in the area have established the presence of three brachyanticlinal structures trending northeast and associated with corresponding brachysynclinal troughs and a series of additional minor folds.
