Abstract

The effective use of mass media in teaching English has emerged as a transformative approach in language education. This paper explores various mass media platforms—such as television, radio, social media, and online resources—and their impact on enhancing English language learning. By integrating authentic materials and real-world contexts, mass media fosters greater engagement and motivation among learners. The study highlights the benefits of using multimedia resources to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, while also addressing challenges such as accessibility and the need for critical media literacy. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical applications, this research underscores the significance of incorporating mass media into English language curricula, ultimately advocating for a more dynamic and interactive learning environment that prepares students for global communication.
