Abstract

The article examines the isomorphic and allomorphic properties of different-tiered verbalises of the concept "head/голава/жлава" in English and Russian, as well as the problems that arise when translating them. The study focuses on analysing semantic, morphological and syntactic features of these verbalisers, identifying their similarities and differences. The authors also consider the difficulties associated with the transfer of semantic nuances and cultural contexts when translating from one language to another. The article provides examples of successful and unsuccessful translation solutions, which helps to better understand the nature of interlingual and intercultural communication.
