Abstract

The sociocultural teaching and learning objective is defined as an integrative learning objective that allows the practice of various linguistic and intellectual activities in conditions of social interaction with representatives of other cultures and a linguistic worldview different. The article highlights the importance of developing sociocultural competence in teaching a foreign language in technical universities.
