Abstract

The article defines the importance of event tourism, which is an important part of the tourism industry, acting not only as an additional source of profit, but also stimulating the development of the industry and related industries. So each ruble invested in a particular event brings 5-7 rubles to other areas. It is for these reasons that in the “Strategy for the development of tourism in the Russian Federation until 2035”, one of the priority tasks is the development of event tourism.
