Structural-Semantic Features Of Sentence Complexification

This article examines issues related to the structural-semantic features of sentence complexification. The phenomenon of detachment is interpreted as the primary means of making a sentence more complex. It is demonstrated that detachment, as one of the most productive methods of sentence complexification, transforms simple sentences into complex ones through syntactic units with relatively independent content, semantic function, distinctive intonation, and logical emphasis. Additionally, the article analyzes the role and significance of the detachment phenomenon in sentence complexification using examples.
