Abstract

Managing advanced osteoporosis in patients with hemophilia requires a multidisciplinary approach. Collaborate with hematologists and orthopedic specialists to balance osteoporosis treatment with hemophilia care, considering potential bleeding risks. Implement strategies like weight-bearing exercises, calcium, and vitamin D supplementation, while closely monitoring and adapting treatments based on the patient's overall health and bleeding tendencies. Regular bone density assessments are crucial for tracking progress and adjusting interventions.
