PNF Strength Training Exercises, Development, HandballAbstract
In this research, we examined the use of a training method to develop some handball skills for youth by applying exercises based on the PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching technique. The first chapter introduced the research, discussing its significance and the evolution of handball, highlighting how to keep pace with developments through diverse training methods for optimal performance. We also addressed the importance of these methods, as well as the goals, hypotheses, and fields of study.
The second chapter focused on explaining the PNF stretching technique, while the third chapter detailed the research's field procedures using an appropriate methodology, key tools, tests, and the scientific foundations of the tests. It included conducting a pilot study and applying exercises based on scientific principles with the aid of sources and references, followed by post-tests and statistical analysis.
In the fourth chapter, we presented, analyzed, and discussed the results obtained. Finally, in the fifth chapter, we reached conclusions and recommendations, highlighting that PNF stretching exercises have a positive effect on developing some basic handball skills. The recommendations suggest utilizing PNF stretching exercises due to their significant impact on skill development.
