The paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in the field of teaching the subject of physics. It is shown that the process of introducing artificial intelligence in teaching the discipline "Physics" can be divided into three main stages, but it is proven that it is exclusively a tool in the work of the teacher, and cannot replace the teacher himself in the educational process.
