Changes in Education in the Example of Zarafshan Oasis

Abstract

This article describes the process of establishing the Soviet education system in the Zarafshan oasis. Many first-level schools and boarding schools were established by the Soviet state. Although an extensive education system has been established,it has been shown on the basis of examples that there are many problems and shortcomings in this regard. During the years of Soviet rule, public education was completely under the control of the ruling communist ideology, and the main focus in all educational institutions was on training specialists for the national economy.
